Zilis Review – Is This A Good Opportunity Or Big Scam?

Zilis ReviewZilis has been getting a lot of attention on the web lately.

Because there is so much hype, a lot of network marketers are trying to sell this opportunity all over the place, including all over social media.

I want to let you all know that I am NOT in any way promoting or selling Zilis.

I have simply gathered for you all the facts in this Zilis Review in order for you to make a proper decision about it.

So, is it true? Is Zilis a scam?

Can it really help you build an online empire?

Let’s carry on with the review.

What Is Zilis?

Zilis is the latest company in the MLM space that I’m going to talk about today, and there’s quite a lot to talk about with this one.

First launched by husband and wife Steven and Angie Thompson back in mid 2015, Zilis is based out of Texas in the United States.

Looking through the corporate bio that’s provided for both of the Thompsons, I noted that it claims both Steven and Angie have “a career spanning over three decades in the wellness and Direct Sales industries.”

The bio continues with the following bit of copy —

“After starting their first health and wellness endeavor shortly after college, they have gone on to build three highly successful global enterprises.

To date, the Thompson’s have built teams totaling over 250,000 people in 40 countries throughout the world.

In addition, Steven has served as Director of Marketing and Vice President of Sales for multiple international Direct Selling firms.”

In typical shady MLM fashion, there isn’t any mention as to which exact firms or companies are mentioned throughout the bio.

After a bit of research that was done on my own time, I learned that Steven was previously acting as an affiliate for Cyberwize between the dates of 2001 through 2009. The company rebranded itself as LiveSmart 360 in 2010, and after overcoming some initial growing pains, LiveSmart 360 continued on throughout October 30, 2015.

Steven Thompson was also an affiliate for LiveSmart 360, and he even worked his way up to Vice President of Sales in 2012. However, seeing as how Zilis was launched in mid 2015 and LiveSmart 360 shut down in late October of that same year, it’s evident that Steven jumped ship with LiveSmart 360 before it officially hit rock bottom.

What Are The Products For Zilis?

When it comes to the product line that Zilis is offering, the company is essentially trying to become the next Amazon for the world of health and wellness products.

According to a quote from Steven, “After many years developing proprietary products in network marketing I realized we had it backwards. Why not find the best products being made and offer them through our company?”

Some of the most notable products within the company’s product line include the likes of Vera Life, Zen, 7 Help CBD Oil, Wright Family Organic Skin Care, Cutting Edge Health & Wellness, and Clean Machine.

While there are definitely products available that move outside of that health and wellness niche, this is certainly where most of the offered products seem to live.

What Is The Compensation Plan For Zilis?

On the money-making side of things, affiliates for Zilis earn cash through two main ways — selling products to retail customers and recruiting other people to join the company.

With the retail commissions, the rate is offered as the difference in price between the wholesale and retail cost.

It’s a pretty simple setup, and I’m not going to spend any more time on it because it’s clearly not the main area of focus for Zilis.

In this case, that focus is clearly positioned on affiliate recruitment.

When you recruit someone new to join Zilis, you are strongly encouraged to get them to purchase one of the three available Starter Packs.

The three Starter Packs are called Bronze, Silver, and Gold, and the commissions that they offer is as follows —

  • Recruiting a Bronze member rewards you with a commission of $20
  • If you recruit someone who purchases a Silver Starter Pack, you get $60
  • Gold affiliates that you recruit pay you $130

Before affiliates can actually start earning on these recruitment commissions (and the host of other MLM-centric bonuses that Zilis pays out), they need to be seen as “active” members within the company.

Zilis denotes active affiliates as those that either generate a total of 90 PV each month or are signed up for a monthly autoship order of 60 PV.

As with most other MLM opportunities, PV stands for Personal Volume and is generated through both retail sales and the purchase of product by affiliates themselves.

What’s Does It Cost To Join Zilis?

In order to join Zilis, you’re going to be met with quite a few different costs.

No matter who you are, all members are required to pay a membership fee of $99.

However, you are then asked to buy into a host of optional products.

The first item that’s offered is a sort of back-office that is described as being a “large organization for other Ambassadors (members that have a monthly autoship order of 60 PV).” This costs $29 every month.

Additionally, all members can purchase a Starter Pack. I already mentioned the commissions available for these things, but their actual costs is —

  • $199 for the Bronze Starter Pack
  • $599 for the Silver Starter Pack
  • $1299 for the Gold Starter Pack

Is Zilis A Scam?

Have you heard from a friend that Zilis is a scam?

Based on this review, it might be hard to tell.

What exactly is the truth about Zilis – is it a scam or legit?

Good news – Zilis is not a scam.

But, be sure to take a look at the conclusion, because there are some things you should be aware of.

This is how you will build a successful in your business.

Let me help you make more money.

Zilis Review Conclusion

While I could spend some time talking about the overlap in products that are offered through Zilis’ third-party product line, that’s not where my main concern lies.

That has to do with the compensation plan that’s being operated.

Although retail sales are technically possible within Zilis, they are quite obviously not an area of focus for the company at all.

There is a whole section of the Zilis compensation plan that is dedicated to describing how members are paid to directly and indirectly recruit new people to join the opportunity.

Furthermore, the presence of the Starter Packs also means that affiliates are able to maximize their earning potential by dumping more and more money into the company — In other words, pay to play.

While retail sales can exist, they likely aren’t the main focus.

I sure hope that you have found my Zilis review helpful for you.
