Read on to find out what you need to know.

What The Heck Is It Works?

It Works is the latest company in the MLM field that’s up for our full review, and right off the bat, we’re met with some pretty reassuring background information. When dealing with these MLM reviews, so often we encounter new opportunities that have been around for about a year or less.

While there’s nothing inherently wrong about a new company entering the MLM field, the new companies that we’re seeing nowadays seem to have lost sight of what’s important when creating a new opportunity for this industry.

It Works was launched all the way back in 2001, and the expertise and experience that this company exudes is truly a real breath of fresh air.

The company’s CEO and President is Mark Pentecost, and the man apparently got quite successful with MLM opportunities in the telecommunications niche all the way back in the 1990s. Since then, Pentecost has gone on to launch It Works, and Mark’s been with his company since 2001 and counting.

It’s great to be able to tie a reputable face to a company, and that’s something that’s become increasingly rarer as time goes on. It’s a real shame that that’s the case, and it’s great to see that It Works understands the importance of making it readily and clearly available in regards to info about your company’s background and founding members.

Is that reliable background information enough to carry It Works through to glory? Or is it simply a lot of fancy talk without any real substance? Let’s find out.

It Works Scam

What Are The It Works Products?

It Works operates in the field of health and wellness, and this niche has proven over the years to be one of the most successful and popular ones out there. Everyone wants to take care of their body as best as they possibly can, and It Works understands this.

The company’s product line primarily focuses on body sculpting and weight loss, and the company’s flagship product that they promote the most is their Ultimate Body Applicator. According to It Works, their Ultimate Body Applicator is a “non-woven cloth wrap that has been infused with a powerful, botanically-based formula to deliver maximum tightening, toning, and firming results when applied to the skin.”

The standard rate for these body wraps is $99 for a pack of 4, and there’s also an option called the “Rich Chocolate Ultimate Body Pack” that sells for $559.

Along with the Ultimate Body Applicator, It Works sells a host of other health and wellness-related items. Some of the most notable ones include –

  • Defining gel for $79
  • A nutritional supplement powder for $99
  • Box of 10 energy bars that aid in weight loss for $35
  • Facial applicators for skin care on your face, toner, eye cream and gel, and other nutritional supplements

What About The Compensation Plan For It Works?

Moving on the compensation plan, It Works rewards affiliates for their hard work through residual commissions that are paid out through a unilevel payment system. Along with these residual commissions, affiliates are also able to earn money through bonuses that are based off of their own personal sales, their rank, and the sales that are taking place in their own downline.

It Works Affiliate Ranks

Similar to many other MLM companies out there that operate in this same niche, It Works has a host of different ranks for their affiliates to work towards and progress through. In order to obtain higher ranks within the company, It Works affiliates are required to build up the overall quality and quantity of their downline.

There are 9 total ranks offered, and they are –

  • Distributor
  • Executive
  • Ruby Executive
  • Emerald Executive
  • Diamond
  • Double Diamond
  • Triple Diamond
  • Presidential Diamond
  • Ambassador Diamond

Residual Commissions

As we mentioned earlier on in this review, one of the primary aspects for the It Works compensation plan revolves around affiliates getting a residual commission based off of the activity of their downline.

These residual commissions get paid out through that of a unilevel structure, and It Works places a payment cap on the first 6 levels within each unilevel team.

Distributor affiliates are able to earn a 10% commission off of levels 1 and 2, Executive affiliates are eligible to earn that in addition to a 5% commission on level 3, and Ruby Executive affiliates are able to earn those commissions along with a 5% commission on level 4 as well.

Finally, affiliates with the rank of Emerald Executive are able to earn the commission rate of the Ruby Executive with the inclusion of a 5% commission on level 4 and a 2% commission on level 6.

It Works does offer an infinity bonus, and this allows Emerald-ranked affiliates to earn a 2% commission on all other levels below that of level 6 affiliates.

However, this is capped off once the Emerald affiliate gets placed on level 6 themselves.

What’s The Cost Of Joining It Works?

If you’re interested in joining It Works, you’ll need to pay a standard membership fee of $35/year.

Although it isn’t required, new affiliates are strongly encouraged to purchase the Business Builder Kit for $199 upon signing up to be an affiliate for the first time.

So, Is There A It Works Scam Going On?

Have you been hearing rumours that It Works is a scam?

After reading this review, you might still be asking yourself if it is really legit.

So – what is the truth? Is there really a It Works scam going on?

If I am being perfectly honest, It Works isn’t entirely a scam.

However, there are some things you need to watch out for.

This is how you will be successful in online marketing. See the image below for details.

Finally, My It Works Review And Conclusion!

Overall, It Works has a very strong opportunity on their hands. The product line is varied and easy to understand, and the compensation plan is very well organized with little confusion to be had.

Upon reviewing everything, the biggest thing that stuck out to use is the company’s tendency to push affiliates and customers to sign up with monthly autoship orders. This generally creates for a bit of concern when reviewing an MLM company, but in the case of It Works, it actually makes some sense.

The products that the company is offering are all consumables, and that means that you’ll need to purchase more of that product once it is gone. So, by getting your customers signed up for a monthly autoship order, they can rest assured that they’ll never run out of product since they’ll be getting it every single month.

It’d be nice to see some more push for regular retail sales in addition to these monthly autoship orders, but this really isn’t that huge of a deal.

All in all, It Works offers a really solid opportunity in the MLM field that’s definitely worth checking out. If you’ve got a genuine interest in the products and feel like you could easily make some sales to folks you know, we wish you the best of luck!
