Get started by reading my review below.
Exactly What Is WebTalk?
Diving right into my WebTalk review, I noticed that the company doesn’t offer a whole lot in the way of background info.
Looking through the WebTalk website, there’s no mention of who owns the company, who’s running things on a day-to-day basis, or anything along these lines.
Moving over to the domain name registration, this is where things start to fall in place. The domain for WebTalk’s website (webtalk.co) was first registered in 2010 and was then updated this year on July 20, 2018. The owner of the domain? Robert Garbowicz from First Round Capital.
If that name doesn’t sound familiar to you, Robert Garbowicz first appeared on the MLM scene back in 2010 when he launched YourNight — an MLM opportunity focused around social media.
YourNight touted that it’d have more than 50 million users within a year and a half of launching, but after less than 12 months, the company had collapsed.
What Is The WebTalk Product Line?
WebTalk is also focused on the niche of social media, and to get started, you can join for free.
Free WebTalk members have access to just 50 contacts (basically Friends on Facebook or Followers on Twitter), but if you want to expand this number and get access to more features, you can pay for a premium plan.
WebTalk offers three paid options that range in price from $20/month to $40/month. Alternatively, you can pay $200/year to $400/year.
Depending on which plan you choose, you can increase the number of contacts you can make, how many messages you can send each month, get rid of banner ads on the site, search through members based on age + gender, look at other members’ profiles without them knowing, and more.
What Can You Tell Me About The Compensation Plan For WebTalk?
When it comes to earning money with WebTalk, this is all centered around getting people to pay for the premium plans and other advertising fees.
All of the different commissions are unknown, but some of the public rates include the following:
- Personally referred customers than pay for a premium plan pays 10%.
- Get 10% on ad budgets spent by personally referred advertisers and on local services that are purchased through WebTalk.
- A 5% commission on any app subscriptions sold through WebTalk’s app store.
Along with these direct rates, WebTalk also has a unilevel system through which residual commissions are handled.
What Will It Cost To Join WebTalk?
In order to join WebTalk, you can do so for free without spending a dime. In fact, it doesn’t appear that premium plans are required at all in order to take advantage of the compensation plan.
However, each affiliate does need to have at least one personally referred member that is paying for one of the three premium options.
Is WebTalk A Scam?
If you have heard that WebTalk is a scam, then you’ve come to the right place to find out the truth.
What’s the truth – is WebTalk a scam?
I would say no. However, there are some things to be aware of before joining, which I have detailed in the conclusion.
You will only be successful by recognizing the weaknesses and finding a way to move past them.
Conclusion For My WebTalk Review
So, should you join WebTalk?
Although WebTalk isn’t operating as a scam or scheme of any sort, the idea of an MLM-focused social networking site is one that just doesn’t work in the real world.
Garbowicz tried doing this back in 2010 and failed spectacularly. There’s no reason he won’t do so again with WebTalk here in 2018.
Even though you can join WebTalk for free and earn money without having to spend a dime, I’d still suggest taking your time and resources elsewhere where they’ll be put to use with a business opportunity that has a strong foundation that’s been proven to work.
I definitely hope you have found value in my Review of WebTalk.
I went into a lot of detail so that you can make a proper decision about whether you want to join or not.
