Exactly What Is Usana?
USANA recently shared its earnings report for Q3 2020, and taking a look through the report, it doesn’t take long to see that the company saw a really impressive quarter.
USANA’s third quarter for the year ended on September 26, 2020, with some of the big highlights including:
- Q3 net sales increased by 14.5% compared to Q3 2019 (resulting in a total of $298.5 million).
- Diluted EPS went up by 32.1% compared to Q3 2019, resulting in a record of $1.44.
- Active customers also increased by 16.5%, for a total of 650,000.
Commenting on the report, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, Kevin Guest, said:
“This was an all-around very successful quarter for the Company.
During the quarter, our strategies led to strong global customer demand for our high-quality nutritional products. We also offered various incentives and promotions that were well received and contributed meaningfully to sales and customer growth for the quarter.”
Operating a company during the middle of a pandemic is no easy task, but like so many other companies, USANA has managed to some out on top in spite of this year’s many challenges.
Continuing his comments, Kevin Guest went on to say:
“Of further note, USANA’s Virtual Events strategy proved successful during the quarter. Our annual Americas and Europe Convention and our China National Sales Meeting were both held virtually, and this allowed us to reach larger audiences than did many of our past, in-person events.
Throughout 2020, our management team and Associate sales force have demonstrated their ability to modify strategies and adapt to continually changing conditions, all in an effort to continue to advance USANA’s mission of health and wellness. We look forward to a strong finish to 2020 and delivering further growth in 2021.”
We’re thrilled to hear that Q3 was a successful quarter for USANA, and assuming nothing drastic changes, we can (hopefully) expect to see similar numbers for Q4.
