Purium has been getting a lot of attention on the web lately.
Because there is so much hype, a lot of network marketers are trying to sell this opportunity all over the place, including all over social media.
I want to let you all know that I am NOT in any way promoting or selling Purium.
I have simply gathered for you all the facts in this Purium Review in order for you to make a proper decision about it.
So, is it true? Is Purium a scam?
Can it really help you build an online empire?
Let’s carry on with the review.
What Is Purium?
Purium is one of the most recent MLM opportunities to make an impression on our radar, and the official website for the company is present with a good deal of background information for the business.
The Purium site indicates that it was originally founded back in 2004 by the likes of Amy Venner and David Sandoval, but prior to launching in its current form in 2004, Venner and Sandoval first started working together as early as 1993.
1993 saw Amy and David working at a manufacturing facility in Utah in the United States in which they were producing products from a farm that they both privately owned together.
It’s stated that this production facility created products for a “huge international company”, but the Purium website doesn’t offer any information as for which company this actually was.
Along with this, it’s said that, “Just when they had finally turned a profit, that company (their biggest client) bailed and left them struggling. They were in a desperate financial situation. At that point they knew they needed to put 100% of their effort, focus, and determination into creating their own brand.
That own brand of their’s first launched as Platinum Health Products, but it was soon transformed into what’s known today at Purium.
According to the Purium website, David Sandoval is the one and only owner and founder for the company. Venner does have her own page on the website, but for all intents and purposes, Sandoval is the main person of focus here.
Sandoval has his own corporate bio listed on the Purium website, and it reads like this –
“Twenty-four years ago David Sandoval was like many of us, working a sedentary job, eating a conventional diet and watching his family members suffer from cancer, diabetes and obesity among other illnesses.
He knew he needed a lifestyle change and set out on a relentless mission to find the answers he needed to turn his life around.
‘I was your typical businessperson eating a rather conventional diet. Although I was chronologically younger in the photo on the left my biological markers for aging (blood pressure, heart rate etc) were much worse (older) than they are today.
In other words, I am biologically younger today than I was 20 years ago.
I did a 180 on my eating habits and that created a 180 for the rest of my life. Today I am thinner, healthier and happier than I was back then and feel like I haven’t even reached the prime of my life yet.
I’m in my 50s but I expect to live another 70 good years.’”
In addition to this, it’s also worth mentioning that Amy Venner is featured on the Purium website as the President for the operation.
What Are The Products For Purium?
In regards to the product line side of things, Purium is a company that specializes in selling products for weight loss, anti-aging, and fitness. These are all markets that have been actively pursued by other MLM entities for years, and when handled right, it can prove to be incredibly profitable.
The Purium website reads that, “Our mission at Purium is simple – we want to help you eat better, age more gracefully and live longer.”
There’s quite a lot of product variety here, but there are far too many items to mention. All of the available items and their respective retail pricing can be found on the Purium website, and the company also claims that all of the products they sell at “100% NON-GMO and we believe that Purium is the only Network Marketing Company that can make this claim.”
What Is The Compensation Plan For Purium?

Purium Review Conclusion
With all of that said, just what’s the final world on Purium?
In regards to the product line, the company has done a really good job at marketing and advertising everything to give off the sense that you’re buying products from a local health store that you might come across in your town.
Wile this aspect is nice to have, the cost of the products being sold is quite high.
The primary/flagship product that Purium sells is a form of 10 day “transformation” plan, and if you stuck with this plan for a total of one month, you’ll be looking at a final cost of a whopping $870.
Along with this, there are also some big red flags with the compensation plan.
The existence of retail sales is great to have, but the payment of affiliates to recruit other people to join the company is heavily advertised and encouraged.
To go along with this, there’s also the presence of pay to play and the ability for affiliates to self qualify for commissions by getting signed up with monthly autoship orders.
If you’re intrigued by what Purium is offering, I’d encourage you to first talk to your potential upline about how much retail sales activity they see. Depending on what the answer is here, you’ll have a better idea of whether or not this is an opportunity that’s worth getting involved with.
