Exactly What Is Presearch?

Google is, unsurprisingly, one of the world’s most iconic companies. Google’s got its toes dipped into a lot of different projects, but the thing it’s most notable for is its online search engine.

It’s reported that Google accounts for 77% of all searches that are done on the Internet around the world, and companies like Presearch want to do something about that.

Presearch is promoting itself as a decentralized and transparent search engine, making use of its community to power its platform.

On its “Team” page, you can browse through the people involved with the company.

Colin Pape is cited as being the Project Lead for Presearch, with his corporate bio reading:

“Colin is a serial entrepreneur who founded the community commerce network, In 2011, Colin found himself mired in a battle with Google and realized that the world desperately needs a transparent and open search engine.”

Additionally, going to the “About” page is where you’ll find the following message:

“Presearch has an innovative go-to-market strategy to target the most frequent searchers – web workers – and gain early adoption, on our way to releasing future versions of the open source platform that will utilize a blockchain-based index, curated by the community.”

Presearch is using the ERC20 standard for its token, with a current total supply of 1 billion at its disposal.

What Can You Tell Me About The Compensation Plan For Presearch?

Like I mentioned above, you’ll earn tokens as you search with Presearch.

As you obtain tokens, you’ll be able to vote on decisions that Presearch has for its community or use them to suggest new features taht should be added.

During Presearch’s pre-sale of tokens, it plans to sell 200 million of the 1 billion it currently has. Presearch notes that 5% of its tokens will be sold as part of the pre-sale, 20% will be given to early adopters of the platform, 30% is being reserved for a public sale, another 30% is being used for the offered rewards, and the last 15% is used for the future development of Presearch.

By continuing to search with Presearch and referring other people to join, you can earn more and more tokens that Presearch is offering.
