Is Octoin really a legit business?
Is Octoin a safe business to join?
Let me show you in my review of Octoin.
Get started by reading my review below.
Exactly What Is Octoin?
Taking a look at Octoin’s website, there’s not much of anything to see. Octoin doesn’t mention who its owner is or who’s managing things on the day-to-day, and this results in the company appearing very faceless.
The domain name for the Octoin site was registered last year on June 28, 2017, and the domain owner is listed as Matt Blunt.
Blunt supposedly registered the domain at an address in London, UK, but further investigation shows that this address belongs to virtual office provider Regus.
Despite this, Octoin still touts a UK incorporation on its website to show that Octoin Limited was registered in the United Kingdom on August 9, 2017.
Matt Blunt is shown as the one and only Director for the company, and while this might look legit at first, it’s worth keeping in mind that UK incorporations are incredibly cheap and easy to make.
In reality, it’s safe to say that Octoin doesn’t have any real presence in the United Kingdom and that the Matt Blunt being referenced here doesn’t really exist.
In regards to Alexa rankings, the countries that drive the most traffic to Octoin’s site include Indonesia, China, and Japan. The company is marketed mostly at those in China, and it’s likely that it’s really being operated out of one of the above countries.
What Is The Octoin Product Line?
To not much surprise, Octoin doesn’t have any sort of product line to speak of.
No goods or services are being sold to retail customers, and as a result of this, you won’t find any retail sales activity.
The affiliate membership becomes the one and and only thing that affiliates have to offer, and in my experience, this is a theme that you only ever seen with opportunities that exist in the MLM underbelly.
What Can You Tell Me About The Compensation Plan For Octoin?
Moving right along to the compensation plan, Octoin affiliates purchase OCC points in order to earn a daily ROI.
1 OCC points is equal to $1 USD, and by investing in these points, you can earn a variable daily ROI for a total of 60 days.
Octoin affiliates are encouraged to keep their OCC points for as long as possible, and with this, Octoin offers maturity period milestones that can result in you earning a larger ROI.
For example, while an affiliate that keeps their OCC points for 90 days will earn a 5% bonus, holding onto them for 150 days will result in you getting a 12% bonus.
Alongside the investment opportunity with OCC points, affiliates are also encourage to recruit other people to do the same thing.
A unilevel system is used to handle basic referral commissions, and this allows members to earn down through seven levels of recruitment. Additionally, you can increase the amount you earn on your daily ROI by getting your recruits to invest more and more into OCC points.
At the Partner level, an affiliate must invest $50,000 of their own money and then convince a minimum of five thousand other people to invest as well in order to get an ROI bonus of 20% extra each day.
What Will It Cost To Join Octoin?
Although you can join Octoin for free, doing so will limit you to earning on only referral commissions. If you’d like to earn on these and the ROI at hand, you’ll have to invest $100 or more.
Is Octoin A Scam?
If you have heard that Octoin is a scam, then you’ve come to the right place to find out the truth.
What’s the truth – is Octoin a scam?
I would say not exactly. However, there are some things to be aware of before joining, which I have detailed in the conclusion.
You will only be successful by recognizing the weaknesses and finding a way to move past them.
Conclusion For My Octoin Review
If Octoin sounds like just another Ponzi scheme that’s trying to tap into the hype surrounding cryptocurrency, you wouldn’t be wrong.
Octoin says that it can fund the offered ROI through cryptocurrency “mining and investment portfolios”, but there isn’t any evidence that this exists.
Instead, the only source of income that Octoin has are that of affiliate investments.
New money comes in, it’s used to pay existing affiliates their owed ROIs, and this turns Octoin into the Ponzi scheme that it is.
No good will come of a company like this, and unless losing thousand of dollar sounds like a good time to you, I’d strong advise looking into something else.
I definitely hope you have found value in my Review of Octoin.
I went into a lot of detail so that you can make a proper decision about whether you want to join or not.
