Obtanix Review – Is This A Good Opportunity Or Big Scam?

Obtanix ReviewObtanix has been getting a lot of attention on the web lately.

Because there is so much hype, a lot of network marketers are trying to sell this opportunity all over the place, including all over social media.

I want to let you all know that I am NOT in any way promoting or selling Obtanix.

I have simply gathered for you all the facts in this Obtanix Review in order for you to make a proper decision about it.

So, is it true? Is Obtanix a scam?

Can it really help you build an online empire?

Let’s carry on with the review.

What Is Obtanix?

Obtanix’s website lists its CEO as someone by the name of Alvey Gomer. I tried looking further into Gomer after coming across their name, but aside from the one mention of it, there’s no further info about this person on either Obtanix’s own website or with third-party sources.

Because of this, my assumption is that Alvey Gomer is simply being used as a namesake and isn’t a real person that actually exists.

The domain name for Obtanix’s website was originally registered on August 19, 2016, and it was then updated this year on March 10, 2017. The owner of the domain is credited as Darin Hadwin with Obtanix Holdings APS, and there’s also an address listed in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Similar to Alvey Gomer, the only real mention of Hadwin is with the domain registration. There’s no further info about the man on Obtanix’s site or anywhere else on the Internet, so just like before, it’s likely the person doesn’t exist either.

Looking at Alexa rankings for Obtanix, there are only two countries listed as sources of traffic. India comes in at first place with 61%, and Bangladesh accounts for 1% of all site traffic. In the same breath, it’s worth noting that three questions listed in the FAQ section of the Obtanix website are written in Indonesian.

Obtanix created a job listing on Upwork (a freelancing website) in June of this year, and the company’s profile on the site indicated that it was based out of Jakarta, Indonesia.

With this information in mind, it’s safe to say that whoever is behind Obtanix is running the company out of either India, Indonesia, or both.

What Are The Products For Obtanix?

Looking at the product line being offered by Obtanix, there’s unfortunately not much of anything to see.

No goods or services are being marketed/sold to retail customers, and this lack of retail sales activity means that affiliates only have the affiliate membership to offer to interested parties.

What Is The Compensation Plan For Obtanix?

Obtanix advertises that its affiliates can earn a weekly ROI between 2.5% and 5% for 75 weeks, and this results in a total payout between 187.5% and 375%.

There are four main investment tiers that Obtanix affiliates can choose from, and along with being able to earn on the ROI, investments also come bundled with xen points that are entirely worthless outside of the Obtanix system.

  • Affiliates at the Basic level invest $100 and earn 1 xen
  • Affiliates at the Starter level invest $500 and earn 5 xen
  • Affiliates at the Advance level invest $2500 and earn 28 xen
  • Affiliates at the Premium level invest $10,000 and earn 120 xen

What’s worth noting here is that 50% of all ROI payments are required to be reinvested back into Obtanix — forcing affiliates to always be investing some amount of cash.

In addition to this, affiliates can also earn on recruitment and residual commissions.

With the former, affiliates are paid to personally recruit more and more people into Obtanix.

Commissions are paid out as certain percentages, and the amount that you get is based on what kind of affiliate you recruit.

  • Earn 5% for recruiting a Basic affiliate
  • Earn 7% for recruiting a Starter affiliate
  • Earn 8% for recruiting an Advance affiliate
  • Earn 10% for recruiting a Premium affiliate

As for the latter, residual commissions are handled through the use of a binary system.

Points are added to either side of the binary whenever money is invested into Obtanix, and positions throughout the system are filled through both direct and indirect recruitment activity.

Affiliates are paid $10 for every $100 that’s matched on both sides of the binary, and the amount that you can earn each day is based on which level you invested into.

  • Daily earning cap for Basic affiliates — $100
  • Daily earning cap for Starter affiliates — $500
  • Daily earning cap for Advance affiliates — $1000
  • Daily earning cap for Premium affiliates — $2500

What’s Does It Cost To Join Obtanix?

In order to join Obtanix, you’ll need to make an investment of either $100, $500, $2500, or $10,000.

Similar to many other opportunities along these lines, choosing to invest more will allow you to earn more throughout the entire compensation plan.

Obtanix Review Conclusion

Wrapping things up, Obtanix claims that it’s capable of offering its daily ROI through the use of cryptocurrency trading and mining.

Per the company’s official website:

“With resources primarily dedicated to Bitcoin mining, Obtanix also mines several other Crypto-currencies at our state-of-the-art mining farms with hundreds of connected machines.

Just like Forex, huge profits are made when Crypto-currencies are exchanged in big volumes.

Profits are amplified & made possible by Obtanix’ vast reserves of Crypto-currencies & years of successful investments experience that have created an attractive pool of Crypto-currencies, growing & exchanging at fast paces.”

Unfortunately, as this story usually goes, there’s no evidence to back up the claims being made here. There’s absolutely no proof that any trading or mining is taking place, and as such, the only money clearly coming into Obtanix is that of affiliate investments.

With newly invested funds being used to pay ROIs that are owed to other members, it becomes clear that Obtanix is nothing more than a Ponzi scheme.

In addition to the regular Ponzi setup, Obtanix is also offering worthless xen points that hold absolutely no value in the real world. They’re nothing more than a way to try and hide the illegal activity that’s truly taking place, but as you can see, they don’t do a good job at masking anything.

Once investing activity dies down, Obtanix will be in trouble. A lack of money actively coming in will mean that affiliates won’t receive the money they’re expecting, and this will result in the entire company coming to a complete collapse.

Most people will lose out, the anonymous admin will earn the lion’s share of what’s invested, and that’ll be all she wrote.
