Exactly What Is NewAge?

Big things are happening in the MLM world, as NewAge is officially purchasing ARIIX, which marks the latest of many acquisitions NewAge has made. Four other companies are also part of this deal, and as a result of it, it sees NewAge’s partnership of brands pulling in revenues of more than $500 million. It also means that the business has operations in over 80 countries.

A deal of this magnitude is no joke, with 400,000+ affiliates working for the brands and helping to sell a large variety of different products. Looking at the six total brands that are now part of the same family, we have:

  • NewAge —Beverage company
  • ARIIX — Nutrtional performance company
  • Zennoa — Dietary supplements based on superfoods
  • LIMU — Nutritional products and beverages based on seaweed
  • MaVie — Offers DNA mapping services and other wellness products
  • Shannen — Skincare and beauty company

Commenting on all of this, Brent Willis (CEO of NewAge and the newly combined conglomerate) said:

“We are very excited that these companies are coming together to create a powerful global enterprise with tremendous growth potential. We will have the team, the scale, the profitability, the brands, and the reach to drive superior growth and return for shareholders and all of our valued independent representatives and consultants worldwide.

NewAge Scam

We believe we are well positioned in this new business environment with more than 80% of products ordered and fulfilled online and delivered direct to consumers’ homes across now more than 80 countries, and expect to continue to be a disruptive force creating the first omni-channel company in the industry.”

We also saw Dr. Fred Cooper comment on this deal, who is the CEO of ARIIX and will be taking up a new position on NewAge’s Board:

“We have successfully disrupted this industry to create tremendous opportunity for all of our independent representatives over the last nine years. Now we are further poised to springboard to the next level together with NewAge.

We are in an excellent position to accelerate organic growth with our direct business model, our expanding market access, and our healthy product portfolio, and are confident as a result of this merger, we will further disrupt the industry and create the first omni-channel company in the sector.”

ARIIX has proven to be a top player in the MLM space, with the company seeing 17% growth for its revenue for the past five years. NewAge has been growing, too, going from $2 million of revenue all the way up to $250 million over the course of about four years.

Once again from Brent Willis:

“NewAge was created to make a difference for consumers with healthy alternatives. ARIIX and all of the other new partners embody the same culture to unleash human potential to do well by doing good. Staying true to our purpose and ideals has served us all well, and now we will be able to increase our reach and impact even more to inspire and educate the planet to Live Healthy.”

Any sort of merger our buyout in the MLM field is reason to take notice, but even more so with one of this magnitude. NewAge and its newly acquired brands stand to be one of the most powerful forces in all of the MLM industry, and it’ll be immensely exciting to see where the business goes from here.
