Exactly What Is Direct Cellars?
Direct Cellars, an MLM opportunity that focused its efforts on the niche of wine sales, made a sudden announcement recently — it’s going out of business.
Members of the company have begun seeing this letter from the Company’s leader:
“Dear Valued Brand Partners,
Due to adverse conditions and lack of immediate financing, Direct Cellars has made the difficult decision to suspend its direct selling business operations until further notice.
Accordingly, we are terminating all Reps Agreements.
During this period, Direct Cellars will no longer process new orders for wine club members or accept new members.”
Following the breaking of this news, one of the top earners at Direct Cellars, Johnnie Green, had this to say:
“Yep it was a sad exit….still can’t believe that no one from their corporate team has reached out to me.”
And that’s about where the story ends. Seemingly out of nowhere, Direct Cellars is out of business — just like that.
Direct Cellars first debuted in 2014 as a monthly wine sales company, and in 2016, decided to offer an MLM business where people could join and sell wine for themselves.
During its time, Direct Cellars established a user-base of over 10,000 members across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
It’s unclear if any updates will follow, but from what we can tell, that’s the end of Direct Cellars.
