What Is Melaleuca 2019?

To start off my review of Melaleuca, let’s take a look at the company’s background.

Melaleuca is being run out of Idaho in the United States and focuses on a few different niches — personal wellness, nutritional supplements, and cleaning supplies.

The company was founded way back in 1985 by a Mr. Frank VanderSloot, and even now in 2019, he’s still serving as the CEO for Melaleuca at the ripe age of 70!

According to one report from Forbes, his net worth was estimated to be as much as $4.2 billion.

However, before Frank took charge of Melaleuca, it was operating as something else.

Oil of Melaleuca was the first incarnation of the company was run by some of Frank’s relatives. The company was faced with an FDA investigation back in 1985, and following that, the relatives offered the business to Frank.

He killed it off, renamed as just Melaleuca, and has been in charge ever since.

What Are The Products For Melaleuca 2019?

In regards to the Melaleuca product line, there’s a lot to see.

Melaleuca markets over 400 different products and claims to be “the largest online wellness shopping club.” Per the company’s website:

“Every product has been developed and manufactured to stand out from the competition.

Each must be superior in a very clear and relevant way to the products you might otherwise use.

That means they are researched, refined, and scrutinized before they ever go to market.”

While that sounds great on the surface, there’s just one problem — Melaleuca fails to disclose any sort of retail pricing anywhere at all on its site. That means potential customers aren’t told how much anything costs, and in the MLM world, that’s a big no-no.

What Is The Compensation Plan For Melaleuca 2019?

As for the compensation plan being offered, affiliates make their money through direct and residual commissions as they sell products to retail customers.

Direct retail commissions start out at an impressive 50% for any orders placed by a customer within their first month of ordering, and from there, go down to 7%, 14%, or 20%. To get those higher numbers, you’ll need to maintain more and more active customers that are buying from you.

Residual commissions are handled via a unilevel system, and if you want to progress through Melaleuca’s many affiliate ranks, you’ll do so by making more sales, obtaining more customers, and recruiting more affiliates.

Melaleuca 2019 Review Conclusion

With all that said, should you consider joining Melaleuca?

Right now, the biggest issue I see with the company is its lack of retail pricing on the website. This is something that should be a very easy fix, so while it could come at any point, it could also never happen.

A lack of retail pricing does nothing but turn new customers away, and as an affiliate for Melaleuca, that could prove to be a challenge when trying to make sales.

Then again, if that’s a roadblock you think you can overcome, Melaleuca does get points for a large product line, fair commissions, and a low joining fee.

If this sounds like something you may be interested in, you aren’t out much by giving it a shot.

Good luck!
