Genusity Review – Is This A Good Opportunity Or Big Scam?

Genusity ReviewGenusity has been getting a lot of attention on the web lately.

Because there is so much hype, a lot of network marketers are trying to sell this opportunity all over the place, including all over social media.

I want to let you all know that I am NOT in any way promoting or selling Genusity.

I have simply gathered for you all the facts in this Genusity Review in order for you to make a proper decision about it.

So, is it true? Is Genusity a scam?

Can it really help you build an online empire?

Let’s carry on with the review.

What Is Genusity?

Genusity is an MLM opportunity that’s based and run out of North Carolina in the United States, and per a marketing video hosted on the site, it’s apparent that Randy Thomas and Tim Sebert are the two co-founders behind the company.

Randy Thomas says that he’s been involved “in the network marketing industry for over twenty-six years”, whereas Tim Sebert claims to have “been in the network marketing industry for forty-one years this October.”

Looking into Thomas and Sebert’s past MLM involvements, it appears that both men have been working alongside each other for a number of years. Both Thomas and Sebert were previously part of Skinny Body Care and Global Domains International, and in 2015, became affiliates for HopRocket.

About a year later in 2016, Thomas and Sebert decided to launch their own opportunity — a pyramid scheme by the name of 10x Recruiter.

You can still access the 10x Recruiter website today, but after looking at its Alexa rankings, it would appear that, for all intents and purposes, it collapsed quite some time ago.

What Are The Products For Genusity?

Moving over to Genusity’s product line, the company is marketing and selling Bluetooth beacons.

Once someone purchases a beacon, they then have the ability to “place their messages and websites in front of everyone with an Android cell phone (with Bluetooth enabled) within their radius.”

Genusity is currently hyping its beacons with the following message:

“Traditional Advertising Is Dead! Stop Wasting Your Money!

No one reads the Newspaper these days. People don’t watch cable, they watch Netflix and Hulu! Radio ads are never heard anymore.

Banners and Billboards are too expensive!

At Genusity, We Have The Solution!”

That solution is the Bluetooth beacon, and Genusity has quite a few different ones to choose from.

Ranging from wearable to stationary beacons, there’s a surprisingly decent selection available.

All beacons come with an upfront cost, and along with this, a monthly fee needs to be paid in order to keep the service of the beacon active.

What Is The Compensation Plan For Genusity?

If you choose to become an affiliate for Genusity, you’ll be compensated to sell the beacons to both retail customers and other affiliates.

Thankfully, Genusity does seem to be focused on selling to retail customers above affiliates — something I’m always happy to see.

Commissions are paid both directly and residually, and Genusity uses a unilevel system to organize this money.

There are also affiliate ranks to progress through, and this is achieved through retail and affiliates sales as well.

What’s Does It Cost To Join Genusity?

In order to join Genusity as an affiliate, you’ll need to pay a membership fee of $15/month.

Genusity Review Conclusion

Starting off with the good first, Genusity’s compensation plan is fairly straightforward with a big focus on retail sales above all else.

This is always a good sign, and it means that Genusity is more than likely operating as a legitimate business rather than a pyramid scheme of some sorts.

A compensation plan is only as good as its product line, however, and that’s where
Genusity struggles.

The market for Bluetooth beacons is an odd one, and along with not being all that popular these days, there hasn’t been any noticeable progress in their features or effectiveness since they first hit the market.

If you are interested in these beacons, Genusity’s products seem to be marked up considerably higher than what you can purchase from other opportunities and regular retailers.

Not to mention, the whole idea of Bluetooth beacons is one that’s still not appreciated by everyone.

Bluetooth beacons essentially send spammy ads to your Android phone via Bluetooth, and along with requiring you to have Bluetooth on at all times, it’s also seen as an invasion of privacy by some users.

As such, while Genusity is a legit business opportunity with a solid compensation plan, the product line is likely far too niche for most people to really do well here.

There’s still a chance to join and make a decent amount of cash, but for most people, I’d advise spending your time elsewhere.
